Hi all,

I have been on the Bristan website and have not been able to identify the model of shower. It has been fitted into a new build property by Bellway back in 2006.

I am looking to replace the part which holds the shower head as it keeps slipping down the pole when in use and is very frustrating.

I have attached pictures in the hope that someone can identify the model for me and I can order spares accordingly.

I feel the brackets which require you to turn a wheel to secure it to the pole are much more effective than this spring loaded one.

I would appreciate any advice on offer.

See attached images.

Regards, Gordon

the slider and head might or might not be Bristan parts. Bristan is a very good brand, you could try emailing them.

It is usually less trouble to buy a new slider and head

plumbworld often have good ones, search for "clearance" to see if they have any special bargains.

I ended up buying the SLID101 C bracket as have used other showers which has that bracket and works well.

I emailed Bristan and got the following reply...

Good Morning

Thank you for your email.

Reference 1683953

We have identified your shower as Java (J TSHXAR C)

The direct replacement slider bracket for this shower is coded SLID 02459CTC and priced at £46.27 including VAT and postage.

Unfortunately, we do not have an alternative slider to match the description given below. However, your rail is 25mm in diameter so any slider to fit this rail will be suitable.

We do have two alternatives, but both are push button operated. The part codes are SLID100 C and SLID101 C. As these are classed as full products, they will need to be purchased from your local merchant

Yours sincerely
