Neff American Style Fridge Freezer - Tripping Mains

I have a Neff 'American Style' Fridge Freezer Model K3965X0/22 (inc. ice maker / water option). The problem is that the fridge trips the mains RCB instantly when switched on or if I try to reset the RCB with the fridge still swtiched on at the wall. This initially happened this morning due to no particular instant (just happpened). Last night I defrosted the freezer drain outlet which had iced up which consequently resulted in the fridge freezer leaking (small puddles appearing on the floor underneath and ice accumilation on the bottom of the freezer).

Are the two instances linked, if so why the delay. If not, can anybody help!!!

Let it dry out completely for min 3 - 4 days & cross your fingers nothing has popped.
