NEFF dishwasher running but not heating water

NEFF (2004) S5457X0GB/02 (auto 3 in 1 ) FD8409
heater matrix tested by appliance engineer on call out - and is working Dishwasher runs through programs BUT is running on cold water only -appliance is not heating up water
any ideas?

I have the same model with the same problem. No tests so far undertaken. Would appreciate any assistance.
