Can anyone help me-DW not really heating so suspected heater element or thermostat
Got top off DW and noticed a micro switch on side of heater -this was closed circuit(no continuity) - I think this is some safety cut out switch ??
took thermostat off and checked continuity -seemed there was none -then ran under boiling water and still the same.
Replced all components ready to bid on E Bay for the thermostat and BINGO!! it seems to be working ok !
Could it be that I have re-set a cut out switch on the heater? The Aquastop valve is noisy and I am thinking that perhaps at one stage I had a bit of water starvation and that tripped it ??
