Anyone know how to apply this stuff please? It says mix up 1/4 of the packet but doesn't tell you what to do with the rest - pour it in? put it back in the fridge? Help please!
Depends on the size pack you have What I do is divide the pack into portions by running a knife across the tray like cutting up a tray bake cake. dividing it into 2 gal watering can amounts then use an old spoon to scoop out the portion into the can to mix.
I have always used the whole pack so never needed to save it but I guess the excess would keep in a cool place for a while but it does have quite a short shelf life. Not too sure I would want to put it in my fridge though
I have always kept it in a cool shed until I needed it.
A second treatment (I seem to remember it's after about 6 weeks) is worth doing I found it worked well, but you do need to water if it is put down during a dry spell. If you get on with your neighbours why not give the left overs to them so you can get a nice slug free perimeter to your garden?
Thanks. It says add 1/4 of the packet to an 8 litre watering can. Ah, it says you can repeat the process another 3 times (fills 4 watering cans), but each can load only treats 1/4 of the 50 sq yard area.
So 8 litres of solution treats 12 sq yards of soil (I think)
