Hi Guys
Just on here on behalf of my mum and brother, who have both just had new boilers fitted.
The question I am asking is what cross sectional area of cable should the supply cable to the boiler be in?
My mums boiler is in(what looks like) 0.75mm three core flex, fed from a plug.
Brothers is from a fused connection unit and that appearrs to bbe thicke stuff, maybe 1.5mm flex.
And should these flexes be heat resistant.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts

Read the instructions?

0.75 flex is usually OK and doesn't have to be HR.
It should really come from a fused spur and not a plug and socket, but that's not exactly serious.

Check the fuse - normally should be 3A but a few are 5A.

ChrisR. Would you like to check that. As any flex entering a boiler should be heat resistant.

Chris is an ACS assessor and so he cannot be wrong!

Except perhaps when he has a senior moment.
