New Drone Laws for 2026 now in force

Just got a DJI mini 4k for xmas, we got the bundle for £315 which comes with a charger pack and 3 batteries, you can get them for as little as £215 but that will be with 1 battery. After buying it discovered we needed a memory card to benefit from the 4K which was about 28 quid.
It is a seriously good piece of kit, I bought it having seen footage that Mottie took with his so I asked him model his was.
I did the flyer ID and Operator ID ?, online test, impossible to fail, £11.75, no big deal.

They should ban YT 'auditors' from owning them. Mainly a bunch of tw a ts winding owners/workers up on industrial estates etc to garner views, all done under the name of auditing.

I fully agree as It doesn't reflect well on responsible drone flyers, No wonder people hate them.

What’s the furthest/highest you’ve been so far?

150 feet up and about the same distance away. Just outside the house really. I might venture up into the claypits during the week, it's quite remote with some good views.
