new model mira sport shower problems

hi folks i recently had a old mira sport shower replaced by council with new model mira sport 2012 model last week it worked great for first cpl of days. it has 3 settings on top low eco and high i always keep it at high setting however ive noticed for last 2-3 days when i first put the shower on the water is not heating properly only coming out cold/luke warm so what i have to do is switch it from high setting to eco for about 30 seconds then switch back to high and as soon i switch it back to high the shower works fine heats up no problem . anyone got an idea of what the problem is? its a pain really and it should be heating no probs on high without mucking about with it.thanks

is it a safety feature built into the shower?

i fitted a mira recently and had to do a calibration procedure before it would work properly. have you read the instructions fully?

ring mira technical it is still under warranty or the plumber that put it in.(unless that is you)

If it's getting warm on the eco setting then the tco etc are fine.
Sounds like a poss fault on the switching assembly at the top of the unit, ie one of the micro switches is not activating properly until turned to eco then back to high.

As it's new get onto mira as the unit is still under warranty for 2 yrs.

dunno if its a safety feature mate theres nothing in instructions about it and it was the council that fitted it. im thinking of phoning mira tomorrow to pick their brains
