Hi

Just had a new patio door fitted and we're putting quick step laminate down. It'll be laid professionally but I'll be sourcing everything.

Could someone please tell me what goes between the end of the laminate and the door? It's going under the skirting so please don't say scotia beading haha.

Thanks

You want a Incizo bar. Quickstep do them,
Then you fit that next to doorframe then fit laminate under the lip leaving your expansion gap

There are great Matt. You can you use in 4 ways
At patio doors / round fireplaces
Laminate to laminate
Carpet to laminate
Vinyl to laminate
So on

So I would also order this instead of a door bar or is a normal laminate to carpet/tile cheap door bar suitable?

Any recommendations for underlay? It's going onto a concrete floor, tiled in those old 70s green things. Lovely.

Thanks!
:D

Them bars are 2.15m long. Pain that as 3 average door ways add to about 2.28m lol. Crafty gits.

You could get a cheap door bar but best to get the matching trim.

Underlay on concrete I use timber tech gold or pro tech.
Both from a flooring wholesaler

You want one with a dpm built in to be safe mate.
