Hiya Guys

Just done my first big quote for an insurance job, just wanted to know if it sounds ok?

House is Scottish Borders, 5 Bedroom, 4 Dormas on Front

Slates Missing & 1/2 Rnd Plastic Gutters

The prices below are for labour only.. Materials are costing £128.34

Front of House
4 Dormas (Gutters, Brackets & Slates) 4 Hour Costing £110.0
9 Slates Costing £39.38
44 Gutter Brackets Costing £100.83
Gutters & Unions Costing £27.50
18 Stop Ends Costing £41.25
3m Downpipe Costing £6.88
Water Outlets Costing £9.17

Back of House
12 Slates Costing £52.50
25 Gutter Brackets Costing £57.29
Gutters & Unions Costing £27.50
8 Stop Ends Costing £18.33

Dog Kennel
22 Brackets Costing £50.42
Stop Ends Costing £9.17
Gutters & Unions Costing £13.75

Labour Total = £472.08
Material Total = £128.34
Overheads @ 9% £54.03

Job Total £654.43

Duration should be 11 Hours ISH

Job is to remove all broken gutter straps, install new ones and install guttering again

Fix all slates around dormas etc

Good estimate?

I'd have said about £980 + v.a.t, you're not charging enough overheads tbh, not to mention profit?

Bare in mind that I'm in London though.

I agree with SAS, anything from £850 and upwards, plus VAT

Don't forget this is roof work which carries a premium as it is high up and don't sell yourself to cheap, also put on the estimate that all works are guarantee for 12 months and full payment on completion of work.
