So I am in the process of building a roof for my future home, my wife has opted for a fan truss with vaulted ceilings.
The trusses are spaced at 3.1m on center and we are using lipped channel as brandering for the roof. As well as attaching trusses together.
What additional bracing is nessasary for the roof? We have mildly strong winds were we are up to 12km/h at times. We don't have snow as we live in a desert. Northern cape of South Africa to be exact. The roof will be covered with IBR galvanised sheets.
Any help and suggestions will be appreciated.
