I'm just about to install a new thermosatic shower and was thinking if the following was possible or not.
I was going to take the cold supply from the tank in the loft by creating a new outlet from it. The hot water is more tricky as the hot water cylinder is in the spare room at the other side of the house. I was either going to 'T' into the existing hot supply in the bathroom (the hot tap that supplies the bath) or 'T' into the hot supply draw off pipe at the cylinder and go up into the room space, across the attic and down into the bathroom. Going under the floorboards would be present a massive job as mentioned above the cylinder is at the other side of the house! I was worried that taking the pipe work up into the roof space would cause a major reduction in the flow of hot water
what would be the best option to go for.
Thanks in advance
