Hi there everyone - hope someone might be able to help me with this problem?
I recently had some new taps fitted in the bathroom - quarter turn on-off ones. The hot and cold supply to the bath and (new shower) go through a pump (well two actually, one upstairs and one downstairs). Now it seems that all my hot water taps in the house momentarily 'set off' the upstairs pump when they are turned off or on. I think this is something to do with pressure and could understand why the new taps may cause this but not any old ones that haven't been changed! The problem seems to disappear if the bath/shower has not been used for a few hours.
Is there anything that can be done to rectify this problem? - the plumber has told me I just have to live with it
