I'm going to install a new downstairs (ground floor) toilet. Can anyone tell me what the regulations in this matter? We already have a first floor toilet but it's not directly above the position that the new one will be. Our house which is 15 years old; if that helps.
The new toilet will be fitted to a concrete floor but this is above outside ground level by about 300mm. I was thinking of going through the outside wall, down under ground to a depth were I can slop gradually down to the inspection hole. The total distance from the new toilet position to the inspection hole is less than five metres.
Any pointers welcome.
