Hi

I wish to install a new sink unit in the downstairs toilet, and what would probably be a simple straightforward affair has been complicated in my mind by the existing ‘feature’ being a corner unit.

The pipes come through the side wall, which is the part I’m struggling with. Sink units from B&Q and Victoria Plumbing have sink units whereby the sink overhangs the left and right hand edge of the sink, meaning that the unit could not be pushed up in to the corner.

This is a view looking over the rudimentary wood panel behind the waste.

I can’t help but think that simple filler pieces to the left hand edge of the unit, spacing the sink away from the wall might look naff. Is this the only way, or can someone help with inspiration or another way of doing? I cannot place the unit on the left wall because of where the entrance door is, and also the radiator is in the way.

TIA.

Buy a corner unit and remove the rear .?
That’s not a bad shout, while corner units I remember have tended to be relatively small, I haven’t actually paid any attention to them. I’d be looking for a unit 600-800mm in width…

If nothing else, a smaller corner unit might be a better option.
