Just wanted to sanity check a few bits on the above, as I can't do any actual work in this weather. I'm a bit confused on the design detail for joining my new extension to the existing house.
Existing House: Solid brick, double skin wall. Standard slate DPC, then a normal course of bricks, then another course with injected damp proofing. FFL is between these:

(Ignore the ground level being too high there, it'll get sorted)
So my new DPC is going to be in the same place as the FFL - what do I need to do to ensure there's no DPC bridging here?
Building control implied I didn't need to worry about vertical DPC's, but I'm a bit nervous now it's coming to crunch time.
Is it as simple as running DPC material vertically between the two courses up to DPC level and then doing my wall starters above that? (Diagram attached)
