First msg - Fitted a new Newlec thermostat like for like in the hall, using same wiring connections but the radiators have never reached a high temperature since even with turned up to +30 also replaced boiler with a Grant external boiler, old boiler U/S but the plumber could'nt help regarding the thermostat, "Need an electrician for that one mate" but ticked along for awhile until today. Thermostat on full, boiler warm so is working as we have hot water, radiators cold, Grunfos circulating pump not working, was a bit noisy the other day but okay when bled all the rads. Honeywell timer set to continuous both heating and hot water?
Could if be a seized Grundfos MXL 180 pump? If the thermostat clicked on and the red light on it illuminates I guess there should be power to the pump? Please advise as running out of jumpers.
