Many of you DIY notters are employers and therefore will be in contact with the Inland Revenue regularly, collecting all the various taxes from staff and despatching these monies into Rachel's black hole never to be seen again.
My question is: do you ever get a "thank you"? Is there even an automated letter or email in return acknowledging gratitude that you have done the work of the state in collecting taxes?
I have always been an employee and my taxes are taken off before I receive the pay and so I have never dealt directly with the IR.
