But surely you are benefitting from all that sovereignty? You've obviously not done it. It may be technically tariff free but it costs me hundreds of pounds whenever I do an export to the EU. Also a shed load of paperwork.

Fruit and veg in my supermarket from the EU has got cheaper. They must be desperate to sell to us.Non tariff barriers mean we all pay more for goods from EU
As a Conservative, what do you think they should do?Though personally I think Kemi will be gone before him. These polls are as much a problem for her as starmer
how do you define “cheaper”Fruit and veg in my supermarket from the EU has got cheaper. They must be desperate to sell to us.
That it costs less money to buy, you idiot. What else do you think it could mean?how do you define “cheaper”

I agree they should be centre right. As a Conservative, what do you think they should do?
I just can’t see how trying to chase the Reform party is going to get them anywhere.
Personally I think the majority of Conservative voters are moderate right of centre and they should get their traditional base back on board.

You do know most of the "cheaper veg" in supermarkets is from UK.Fruit and veg in my supermarket from the EU has got cheaper. They must be desperate to sell to us.

And now it’s vat free B2C. Brexit bonus. As an EU member B2B could import VAT free
Great for cash flow.
The negatives of non tariff barriers far out weigh VAT free export for the vast majority of people.
Non tariff barriers mean we all pay more for goods from EU
It started as a mixture of mis pressing the phone keyboard and a certain irreverence to those in power.Hey Blup. Just a question. Is there any reason you deliberately Mis-spell names? Donald, Trump, Musk, Biden, Boris, Farage, Starmer etc etc etc. Not one of them are spelled correctly when you mention them. Just curious.

Mostly agree with that but what would be the point of religion if the leaders weren't on pedestals?Have to say this is a healthy attitude to have. Let's face it, collectively, those in power aren't exactly doing a great job. We should never have these people on pedestals, same with celebs, religious leaders etc.
The toreys have more to fear, but so does labor in the sense it would be losing votes to greens lib dems etc as well as to re form. Politics is changing with more parties and more diversity to them. That is why the centre ground may no longer be as safe a bet as it was. And why Labor should become more distinctively left leaning in their policies. It's not Labour who should be concerned about the Faragists: Only 10 weeks in, and the new Tory regime is already at the stage of having little dignity left to lose. Reform is no longer nibbling chunks off the Tory vote but swallowing it in great hungry gulps – 15% of 2024 Sunak voters have jumped ship in six months, according to YouGov
Really? That’s interesting. Oh…You do know most of the "cheaper veg" in supermarkets is from UK.
No, I don’t. Do you? What supermarket chiefs do you listen to and why should we be dependant on EU produce — they’re not the only feckers that grow fruit and veg. It’s a competitive market - if they don’t or can’t supply goods of decent quality for a reasonable price, supermarkets will source them from elsewhere but I must say, there’s more EU produce in the supermarket niw that there was 5 years ago so they look like they've learned a lesson and that they can do it or we go elsewhere. You do know this? You do listen to the supermarket chiefs and news ?
