Nigel is snapping at Starmers heels.

No, I don’t. Do you? What supermarket chiefs do you listen to and why should we be dependant on EU produce — they’re not the only feckers that grow fruit and veg. It’s a competitive market - if they don’t or can’t supply goods of decent quality for a reasonable price, supermarkets will source them from elsewhere but I must say, there’s more EU produce in the supermarket niw that there was 5 years ago so they look like they've learned a lesson and that they can do it or we go elsewhere.

Anyway, this subject of us being doomed with all the fruit and veg we supposedly can’t get quickly or cheaply from the EU keeps cropping up - mainly by Notch, he of the great tomato famine.

Not just supermarket chiefs but government too, including when Tories were in power

Doesn't matter how much you pretend different, it's factual

Really? That’s interesting. Oh…

Everything else was loose veg but I don’t think we grow Avocado’s, bananas, oranges, lemons and limes in the U.K. I think my two baking potato a may have been from the U.K. though.
IIs interesting that the south african grapes in pic 3 are stated to be not for the eu. That suggests they would be more expensive to import than produce prepared to eu standards for a bigger eu market.

He likes to deny the facts

Mostly agree with that but what would be the point of religion if the leaders weren't on pedestals?

For those who follow organised religion, in my opinion their faith should be something that links directly from the individual to whatever god they worship. Those representing the religion (priests etc) should simply be considered representatives of that god. Of course they can be admired, much as you would any good manager/leader, however that's different from putting them on a pedestal.

So why haven’t you provided the evidence.

Oh that’s …..because it’s not true
He knows better than the governments and supermarket chiefs.

Taking longer for produce to get here, and at a higher cost means more expensive and shorter time on the shelves.

It's not rocket science

My wish is for the UK to be governed by a moderate coalition of the Labour, liberal and conservative trend

I don't vote conservative but the likes of howe , hurd , heseltine and Clarke were conservatives I respected .....and in the day if a Labour and Liberal coalition had broken the rules and invited those sort of fair minded Tories to take part in government across the benches that would have been fine by me

I hated windbags like Benn and heffer as much as I hated Thatcher

Corbyn , Mcdonald and the loathsome Abbott give decent fair minded and moderate folk who would never vote conservative such a headache as they play right into the hands of the right wing and have helped make anyone but the Tories unelectable for so long

I wish starmer would get rid of rayner , she's such a hypocrite and I can't help but feel he's a weak leader and the country could do so much better

I really do pray something in the middle is sorted out as reform are blatantly an extreme right wing populist party and will ruin great Britain

Heseltine , a swansea jew spoke so eloquently on the politics show about the danger they pose
