no heating hot water

no heating no hot water...power to boiler but mechanical clock not make any sound..was working earlier this evening..i was trying to fit a wireless programmable room stat...How ever silly me forgot to un plug the clock from the board..I'm think i have blown a fuse on the pcb...any sugesstions ???

Now let me think..................................No sorry, hard as I try I can't think of the make and model of your boiler. :mrgreen:
 
Fuse will not blow if you leave clock plugged in. It will blow if you incorrectly wire your external control as I suspect you have. You can try a new fuse but it will need to be the proper fast blow type, not the ones you put in a house plug.

Hi thats what i thought it was to was a fast blow fuse...cant see it been anything else...

I mate i did check the fuse it was the anti surge fuses on the pcb boiler working perfectly now..my mutli meter was faulty other wise i would have tested the fuse with that ist...there not cheap £ 4.00 inc vat from parts centre..
