Slightly off topic, but to do with precisely the same boiler.
I have one where the EV has gone, and water exits the pressure nipple, when pressing the core. Due to the position of the flue pipe, the MIs say we have to fit an external vessel. Fair enough. But what do we do with the defective EV. Is it ok to leave it connected, or is it's connection to the boiler easily accecisible to disconnect and cap?
