Hi first been waiting all day to figure out how to post thread lol kid done it in end.
I have had couple of cowboy plumber who fixed a problem and on way out created another.
All started with freezing sat morning no boiler, called recommended plumber who cleaned heat exchange with acid and low power jet wash. He cured that problem but left me with a hole in 3way unit. When I mentioned it wasn't there before he touched it, he said u got insurance go through them.
Called another plumber he gave me leaking 3way pump.
Called another plumber he fitted 3way unit as everything needed stripping, he done that but broke turbine pin connection.
They all seem to break and shrugg their shoulder.
I fitted new turbine, everything works as it should when boiler first switched on.
C/heating no issue at all, but warm water does not come out of standby mode to get to comfort start?
If I off and on again it warms a bit up but once used it just stays on stand by unless I press menu and go on comfort mode again?
I have checked most of the wiring with multimeter and connections looks sound.
If the boiler doesn't react when you turn the hot tap on then I would start with the flow sensor.
Judging by the shoddy work you have had done on it and the leaks created it's a wonder the CH works.
I assume that when you say you changed the turbine you mean the flow turbine. If so you need to be sure this is receiving signals from the PCB and working properly.
It seems to send message as temp goes down to 40ish flame signal kicks in, and gets temp to 65-70 but have to turn tap off soon as water goes Luke warm and on again after about min and warm water comes again.
Hi Manish,
Is the flow rate on the hot water ok?
Does the burner actually light when opening a hot tap?
What happens if you leave the tap running once water has gone luke warm, does burner come on again if it is lighting?
No burner does not come on once warm water used and leave tap on, it just stays on stand by. Unless I press menu and switch to comfort mode then burner kicks in.
