No hot water but heating is working fine

Hi chaps,

I've got a bit of a problem where the hot water doesn't seem to be working properly. Although the heater is working fine when I turn it on.
I've noticed a couple things which are;

- hot water will come out a bit when the heater is on.
- the boiler tank doesn't make the boiling noise as it has been doing before.

The switch at the boiler tank is constantly on all the time.

I thought it could be some sort of faulty of the electrical system of the boiler tank. Has anyone got any idea what the problem might be?

If your talking about gas hot water/heating system. have a look in the loft to see if there is water in the small tank
