have just put in a new mixer shower, but have no hot water coming from it.......just a dribble.the water system is mains fed with a hot tank in the airing cupboard...please help
is the cylinder fed from another tank in the loft or on top of the cylinder?...have you fitted a bleed screw at the highest point?. Its either an airlock or a lack of head of water I would guess.
What feeds your hot water cylinder
You must have a tank higher than it to supply it
Has the new mixer been connected to both supplies correctly.
Who fitted it?
if it is a fortic type cylinder with the feed tank built on top of the cylinder you're pretty stuffed as you don't have the head of pressure for your shower to work. you can either reconfigure your system to incorporate a feed tank in the loft space and a new cylinder, or get an electric shower. sorry.
Is the shower a brand new installation or have you replaced an existing shower?
If you have what Olski says is a Nelson tank (square tank directly on top of your DHW and CH cylinder) then I,m afraid you have negative pressure and will have to use your shower as a foot cleaner.
Sorry for that
