Hi, wondering if you could help please, we moved into our house 2 weeks ago, and the only way to obtain hot water is when the central heating is on, and the pump is working, a new pcb was fitted yesterday, and still no joy, in addition I watch the diaprahm "pin" come and and trigger the micro switch, so assume the diaprahm is ok?

Please help!!

Which pin? There are 2. One points up and is the pump proving or main flow switch (operates on ch and hw) and the other is horizontal and operates the hw. If both are moving it could be the hw thermistor/sensor.

Who decided that you needed a new pcb?

Get your money back from them.

Remove the microswitch off the front of the DV and gently press it with a small screwdriver. If the boiler fires up it is ok, so replace the diaphragm, if it doesn't it needs a new microswitch.

Hi, many thanks to you both for your replies, in terms of which pin, I can see the one that touches the microswitch

A friend who works for a national company said the board? I did notice the relay on the old board was very black?
