I have an alpha cb24x boiler. There is no hot water except when the central heating is on. Surely not the diverter valve as heating is being diverted to heat water and vice versa. System also looses pressure daily. Any ideas??

Divertor may be stuck in CH, but this is more likely a valve not closing all the way problem - if theres no leaks on the boiler you must have a leak somewhere on CH pipework if system pressure is dropping, or your prv may be passing, or poss a pinhole in EXP V diagphram
