I have an Alpha cb24x combi boiler approx 8 years old. Central heating ok but no hot water. When CH is on, hot water temp will the rise to luke warm. When the CH is off the water is cold, the flow rate seems ok This started as intermittent fault when water would get hot when tap full on but go cold when tap was half on, but now the water is constantly cold (does"nt fire up for H.W. but will fire up for C.H.)

Sounds like a split diaphragm to me.
