Noisy hotpoint wf 445

The motor is very noisy (sounds like a bag of nails). All functions are still working at this time. Help please - Thanks

poss drum bearings how do u know its motor

I leaned the machine back whilst it was on spin and looked underneath. The metal grating noise appeared to be coming from the motor.

when you tilt it back moter will rub onto rear cabinet ,spin drum by hand on a level floor is it noisy

It is quiet when spun by hand and when turning slowly via electric. The noise gets worse as the speed is increased.

if your sure its the motor it needs replacing, not cheap
