We had a Main boiler March 2011. A new pump was fitted and all the rads had a power flush.
recently when the system comes on it makes a loud humming noise. it almost sounds like the neighbours are using a hammer drill.
the noise seems to be coming from the boiler and quietens down as the water warms up.
It is seems to be louder when only the hot water is on but still fairly loud with the CH on.
the man who installed it says we should just bleed the rads which we have done for about 2 weeks everyday but no change in the noise.
can anyone help
