I have recently replaced the cartridge in my Mira 415 mixer shower which runs on a combi boiler. The shower has been in place since the house was built approx 15 years ago and has worked fine up until the last few months when it has gradually got colder and finally would not turn off. I replaced the seals and the cartridge for an identical unit and the shower now appears to run well with plenty of hot water; however it makes an awful noise when adjusted to a reasonable operating temperature. It is fine if completely cold or if very hot but in the middle it makes a terrible racket and there is a lot of vibration from the pipes. Does anyone have an idea as to what has gone wrong? Could the new cartridge assembly be malfunctioning?
