noisy pipes

had a new combi boiler and some new radiators fiitted last year but there is a banging sometimes what is the cause of this could someone tell me please

I'm not a plumber, but as far as i know its when the pipes heat up and expand, this makes them push against things like the joists, and then the pressure builds up and then they will slip and thatss the banging you hear... Correct me if Im wrong tho peeps!! :)

I was thinking that perhaps the radiator pipe was too tight to the laminate floor and its just one bang at a time
