Noisy Power Shower - any suggestions

Hi,

I've fitted a (self contained) power shower over the bath...and very nice it is too....

Except that when I turn it on sometimes it makes an awful loud vibrating noise (akin to an angry 30 inch wasp). It's sometimes cures by turing the power up full then turning it back down again....but sometimes it's not.

All the water flow seems just fine etc.

Any suggestions as to the problem?

Stud wall? we had one that vibrated so much agin the hollow wall and around the shower enclosure,that I chucked it out
