Can anyone advise why our CH pump sounds like a Chieftan tank 10 mins after the boiler comes on. The rest of the time that the Hot Water is on the pump makes no noise. The pump is set on the slowest setting, we daren't turn it up! I've tried turning down the thermostat on the hot water tank and that makes no difference.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I've turned the boiler stat down from 3 to 2, and bliss, no more noise.
My only concern is that the problem will resume when I need to turn the boiler stat back up in the winter?
