Hi all,
I have this issue which I suspect is a duff pump.
Had a couple of cold mornings this week and the CH has come on for half an hour or so. Now when the HW comes on the pump sounds like its struggling. To resolve I bleed the pump and then redo the system pressure. (Sealed system with immersion).
Is the bleed seal on the pump likely to have failed? It happens very regularly and I have to fix it every time as otherwise the system wakes me up in the morning.
Slightly confused though as to why there would be no problems with only HW on? Sort of suggests there might be a leak in CH circuit somewhere or the three way valve?
Is there anything I can try other than just replace the pump?
Cheers!
