I have recently had a grundfos stc 1.5 shower pump fitted and the noise is unbearable. It is situated right next to the tank in the airing cupboard. Can anyone suggest a quick and easy way to quiten this thing down?

thanks

This is my first time on a web forum and dont actually know if this is the right section of the web site. If not can someone re-direct me

Thanks

The noise should not be that bad, is it sat on rubber or foam pads? This will reduce noise caused by vibration.

Also, make sure the flexible "anti-vibration" hoses on the pump have a little bit of slack, and that the pipes are clipped to stop them shaking.

If this doesn't fix it, as mentioned above place the pump on a rubber mat.
