Any suggestions on how to quieten shower pump. I have Monsoon 2 Bar positive standing on the floor of the airing cupboard next to the cylinder etc. The noise in the bedroom is passable but downstairs in the lounge it's inbearable. BTW it is a new installation. any ideas welcome.

Are the flexi hoses fitted to the Monsoon able to contract / shorten to accomodate that 50mm. or does the system have to be re-plumbed.

Sorry to ask the daft question - have the anti-vibration feet been fitted correctly?

Yes they are fitted. Should this pump not be audible from underneath if mounted on the upstrairs floorboards then?

I built an MDF box and put sound proofing foam inside and out. I then sealed the whole thing up with heavy duty tape. Its gone from the sound of a power drill to something you can't even hear.

Of course if I need access, I have to take the box apart..
