Hi. I recently had my sink and bath taps replaced in my bathroom by a plumber. The taps are fine but since they have been done, when a tap (hot or cold) is turned off in the house, there is a loud clunk/knock that can be heard throughout the house. Have also noticed a drop in pressure in the taps and electric shower (I have a combi) when another tap is turned on. I never had this problem before the taps were replaced. It was a very quiet system.
He had to shut off the mains water when he did the sink taps as he could not access the iso valve. I have since had him back and he is struggling to fix the issue. I have tried fixing this myself by turning off the mains water again but no joy.

Any advice would be great.
Thank you.

Water hammer maybe?
You can fit a water hammer arrestor.

Try turning stop tap back a bit for now

Too great a volume of water, due to main valve being opened up more than before, or - some of the pipework is loose and need to be fixed with more brackets.
