Draining the system

I have turned off the mains water and drained both systems to change taps throughout. No water through the cold tap on the kitchen sink or the bathroom sink, but a very low steady flow of water continues through the cold bath tap and when that's turned off the flow is diverted to the toilet cistern, but not the sink taps????

Thanks holty, took a hammer to the stopcock and it did move an extra fraction

sounds like either your stoptap is not fully turned off or letting by.and probably finding its easiest route e.g bath taps lower than the kitchen sink etc.
