I've just bought a new sink which came with double trap and waste, however the pipework and fittings are neithrr 32mm nor 40mm . The sink came from a UK website but it's obviously made in china.

Anyone had this before?

I can probably botch it to fit into the 40mm waste pipe going outside but it seems very odd that it would be supplied with non standard fittings.

The sink drainer is more like 57mm.

If the sink waste's are standard 40mm size then just buy another 11/2 or double bowl kit from McAlpine, much better in the long run. Worst case if the wastes aren't 40mm outlets then just buy 2 standard basket wastes too.

No the sink wastes are 50mm inner bore but 50mm fittings do not fit.
