After 2 years of living with a dark suede effect paint in the living room it's time for a change. My wife wants to go with white paint this time which will be on 3 walls and up the landing, the other wall will be re-papered later when she can figure out what she wants 
I've sanded the walls down to make them smooth (never using suede effect paint again) but just need to get the paint. So, as this is a north facing room and we don't get all that much light is white the way forward or something similar?
