I used to think this joke was funny:

There was a mama mole, a papa mole, and a baby mole. They lived in a mole hole near a sugar processing plant in the country.
One morning they woke up and the papa mole reached his head out of the hole and said, "Mmmmm, I can smell sugar". The mama mole reached her head outside of the mole hole and said, "Mmmmmm, I smell syrup."
The baby mole tried to reach his head outside the hole but couldn't because of the two bigger moles. He was trying his best to shove past but to no avail. "Humph," said the baby mole, "the only thing I can smell is molasses."
