Hi all,

Wondering if someone could take a look at this and let me know if they have any ideas... :)

Here is a picture of the bathroom I am talking about:

It's a belter, I know  There's currently no shower as you can see. Would ideally stick one on the back wall above the bath however the issue I then have is how to install a shower screen. The curtain in the picture might not make it easy to see but the bath will be a good bit wider than the wall space to the left of the window. This means that a shower screen would cut across the window and leave a substantial gap between the shower screen and where the window space begins.

Any ideas on a solution to this which (1) won't look crap and (2) won't break the bank? ;)

All comments/suggestions welcome.

Cheers.

Reduce the size of the window to give more wall space over the bath.
Not cheap but easily doable, Bathroom windows are generally too big anyway.

Thanks all for the responses.

Yeah I suppose the shower could go on the other end mounted on the main wall. Dunno if that's ideal but worth a think.

Reducing the size of the window would be ideal but I don't have the budget for that :(

I was thinking that maybe a 4-way 'folding' hinged screen could maybe be solution? So the first of the 4 panels could sit at ~45 degrees which would cut across the bath losing some space but it would at least cover the gap at the window. The rest of the panels could then pretty much sit alongside the edge of the bath. Might look a bit weird right enough? Any thoughts?

And yeah, suppose I could always resort a shower curtain if necessary. Found a 'flexible' shower curtain rail which can apparently be bent into any shape so that could be a solution if I can't get a screen to work.
