Hi all.
I've bought a couple of interior doors which are oak veneered with 2 glass panels.
I wanted to treat them with teak oil, but after reading the information with the doors it says "these doors are not suitable for oils or waxes."
Has anybody oiled a veneered door & was it ok? Is the reason why they don't recommend oil because it could lift the veneer?
I actually tried a small part of the door at the bottom, with the oil, before I read the instructions. It seems ok but these doors have a chipboard type core with a thin veneer of oak over the top.
Any advice much appreciated.
