Hello. I’m wanting to open the kitchen into the dining room and part of the corridor to 1 room. But there is an extra stack which I believe was the gas boiler chimney. It disappears above the kitchen/dining room.
Obviously I will get a structural engineer to have a look. But I just wondered if its a problem for opening up this area. It might involve removing the whole stack or adding a bigger RSJ. Thank you
