Old thermostat.. how does this work??? Forced hot water.. boiler in another building.

I don't know.. this is in my townhouse and the boiler is in another building and I have no access to it.. I am guessing this is some sort of mechanical thermostat??

Was going to write something then realised you said hot water and not heating The last picture, is that your hot water feed from the boiler?

It's the connection to the actual baseboard heater...

Hi Paul this is a UK based site. I have never seen what you have shown, on this side of the pond and I would doubt many others have here either.

Saw one once and I took it out and replaced it with a valve sparky wired it in with a pipe stat.Bob
