Old Thorn M44 54C flame goes out constantly

Hello
Any ideas anyone? The boiler doesn't come one with timer now. Timer seems fine. I can manually fire flame sometimes but even if it keeps going for a few minutes it goes out again. Be great if any tips
 
Well George, it seems the flame failure arrangement is not working properly. When did you last have it serviced?

We cannot give DIY gas advice on this forum so the obvious advice is that you call a gas registered engineer to sort it out for you.

Its not likely to be a terribly expensive job! Probably under £100 including a service.
