Hi, I have 2 pipes with only a short length sticking out of the wall for a mixer shower, I put on the chrome nut then olive and tried to tighten to shower but its just short so not flush with the wall but the olive is now compressed under the nut(due to short pipe).

What is he best way to remove this so I can trim the pipe?

Thanks

if ya cant get to the olive's cut the nuts off with a hack-saw
ya can then either use a pair of grips to work the olives off or cut and snap um off

Cut 3/4 of the way through the olive with a junior hacksaw, then insert a small flat screwdriver into the slot and twist, it should snap off, I find cutting diagonally across the olive is easier.
