I have a traditional heating system with hot water tank in the airing cupboard and a boiler downstairs which feeds the hot water tank and rads via a 3 way valve. The rads do not have thermostatic valves.
The problem I have is the radiator in the dining room which is cold.
I have read some posts on here using the search facility and have carried out the following;-
Close off all downstairs rads except the cold rad and turn thermostat up. This forces hot water thru the cold rad which warms up a treat! Open all other rads and all is well. For about a day then the dining room rad goes back to cold.
I have done this 3 times now but keeps going back to cold running.
Any ideas what this could be?
Cheers
