put radiator back on and switched on again a short hiss then nothing, no air no water!! only the very bottom of the radiator was hot. can hear water gurgling in the radiator but thats it.

all other radiators in house upstairs and down rostie toastie!

Open the valves to the rad in question.

sorry forgot to enter that ! Both valves opened, when i put the radiator back onto the fixings i firstly opened up the flow direction valve first in an attempt to fill the radiator. when this didnt work i opened up the other valve. still no joy. Its almost as if the radiator isnt filling with water for some reason. The very bottom and i mean the very bottom is so hot its almost unbearable to touch but the rest of the radiator is stone cold!

Any other suggestions ?

1. Turn the system on.
2. Shut off all other rads
3. Turn the system off.
4. Vent the troublesome rad.
5. Turn everything back on again.
6. Balance the system.
